As a non-profit organization, fundraisers and bingos are an integral part of Kanata to help keep the cost down for operations, purchase new equipment and continued maintenance. Parents of children registered in a program are required to do one mandatory fundraiser or bingo per child per session. A volunteer bond cheque or credit card authorization form is required on the first day of class. ​

Fundraiser or Bingo? ​

Generally speaking, the CanGym and Preschool classes are assigned a fundraiser (see below) and the higher level classes are assigned a bingo for fundraising. ​
